Sebastian "Bas" Lanier is Alpha of one of the Wild Lake Wolves as well as owner of Wild Lake Outfitters. Bas barges into Congressman Landon Foster's office, with a trap - not caring who he upsets or disturbs in the process. Bas is stunned to find a young woman in the office, but unsure what to make of her.
Abigail "Abby" Winslow is a law student that got a dream internship with Congressman Foster's office. Upon seeing Bas, Abby wants to get closer to him, no matter what. Congressman Foster and Aide Dale Thorp are attempting a land grab, hoping that Abby's skills will get them what they want.
Abby isn't supposed to know about Congressman Foster and Thorp's plans. Abby is torn between her heart and Bas's need to know the truth. Will Abby admit her feelings for Bas? Will Congressman Foster and Thorp succeed? Can Abby tell Bas the truth? Your answers await you in Primal Heat.

I'm really loving this series! The characters are tough as nails, yet they have such compassion and passion that it's astounding to behold. The story really sucks you in from the first page to the last and it just doesn't stop, either.
Primal Heat definitely lived up to it's title and then some. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in the series.
